  • One of Bob Hope's comedy writers. Mr. Hope expected his staff to drop everything if he needed new materials even if the writer was on their honeymoon. This happened to Mr. Fox but Bob and Delores Hope made up for it by offering the use of the Hope family home in Palm Springs, California.
  • Began his career as a writer and producer in radio at KYA and KSFO in San Francisco.
  • Had a children's show "Freddie The Fox" on KSFO radio station.
