Ivonne Fournery was born in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She obtained her degree in the National School of Dramatic Art of Argentina in 1968. She is a director and an author of different and distinguished plays in theater, television and movies.

Ivonne Fournery participated as a distinguished supporting actress in several soap operas written by Alberto Migré such as" El Hombre que Amo",1986, "No va más",1989,"Chau Amor Mío",1979 and "Pablo en Nuestra Piel",1977. In 1983, she is one of the co-stars of the soap opera "Amada" written by Celia Alcántara, and starring Libertad Lamarque. Years later, in 1989, she worked as a supporting actress in "La extraña dama", one of most successful soap operas in the Argentine televison. This soap opera was leaded by Luisa Kuliok, Jorge Martínez and Gustavo Garzón. Also, the soap opera had an extraordinary supporting cast and well- known writters such as Marcia Cerretani, Lucy Gallardo and Alma Bressan among others.

In theater, Ivonne was the main character in memorable plays such as "Juana de Arco en la Hoguera" written by Paul Claudel, "Bodas de Sangre" by Federico Gracía Lorca" and "La Discreta Enamorada" by Lope De Vega among others. She has also been Director and co-author of "Cambiar el Pasado", 2010 in the" Teatro de la Comedia", play that has received excellent reviews from the media and the audience.

In movies, she has worked as a main and supporting actress in" Tus Ojos Brillaban", 2004, "Sangre", 2003, "Apocalipsis 13", 2003, "Viaje por el Cuerpo", 2001, "Los Médicos, 1977 and "Basta de Mujeres", 1977 among others.

Ivonne Fournery has also been an author-Coordinator of great and successful television shows such as "El palacio de la Risa" 1994-1998, starring Antonio Gasalla, she was the author of "Nueve Lunas", 1995 and "Mi Mamá me Ama", 1993, the last one directed by Alejandro Doria.
