Gary Foo is a full Canadian ACTRA actor and British Actor's equity member known for acting, stunts, stunt coordination, fight choreography, producing and directing - especially action scenes. He is also a musician and accomplished martial artist and instructor.
Although he started his acting as a teenager he has a family background in the emergency services and military which shaped his early professional career choices. He served as a sworn Police officer in two countries, is a Paramedic and Tactical Combat Medic and a Rescue Technician. He also started working for Fire Departments in the 1990's and is a serving Deputy Fire Chief.
He is also the Chief of The United Nations recognized international disaster response team; The Emergency Response Team Search and Rescue, (ERT SAR) and he has led disaster medical and rescue missions in emergencies all over the world as well as other other all hazard deployments.
He has English and Chinese ancestry. He is married to Virginia who was also a Police Officer, now a nurse, and they have two children.
