Now shooting the 2nd season of "Running Point" (Netflix) with Kate Hudson, Suzanne recurs as the overbearing but lovable Linda Levenson. She has a hilariously memorable cameo in the Eddie Murphy blockbuster 'Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F' (Netflix) as Felicity (with her dog, Manolo) and recently induced guffaws and won hearts as Betsy in the new horror comedy film 'Found Footage: The Making of the Patterson Project' (Apple+TV). She's a series regular as soap opera star Miranda in the pilot "For Years to Come," written by and starring James Patrick Nelson. Recent TV guest star roles include glamorous, murderous Betty on 'Magnum P.I.' hilariously clueless Mary on "Grace & Frankie (Netflix), snobbish Edie on Fox's 'The Cool Kids' and carefree Linda on ABC's long-running 'Fresh Off the Boat.'
Among her 60+ TV/film credits, personal favorites are major supporting roles such as the outraged Janice in the Duplass brothers' indie feature hit 'Manson Family Vacation' (Netflix), brash New Jersey cougar Diane on 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia,' and dewy-eyed spiritualist Gerty in the cult PopTV comedy 'Swedish Dicks,' starring Peter Stormare, Johan Glans and Keanu Reeves.
Suzanne can be heard narrating the popular audiobook for young adults, 'Black Rocks and Rainbows: The True Adventures of Henry Opukahaia, the Hawaiian Boy Who Changed History,' written by her late mother, Susan C. Riford, and available on Amazon, Audible and wherever audiobooks are sold. Other audio titles include Nick DeWolf's harrowing supernatural thriller, 'Pulling Strings.' She is one of the elite group of actor-narrators who perform live at the Samuel Oschin Planetarium at Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.
She trained in New York with Stella Adler and William Esper, and has appeared in over 100 stage productions there, on tour and in regional theatres around the country.
Suzanne is a member of Pacific Resident Theatre, Rogue Machine and the Road Theatre Company. She lives in the Hollywood Hills with her husband, Alan Toman.
