Robert Fieldsteel

Since 1976, Robert Fieldsteel has had a distinguished career as a professional actor, playwright and educator. He holds the distinction of winning Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards as both an actor (Andrea's Got 2 Boyfriends, 1986) and playwright (Crazy Drunk, 2003). His plays have been produced in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. He studied in Los Angeles with Joanne Baron (Meisner Technique), Bobby Lewis, Jose Quintero, Stella Adler and Paul Sills. He guest-starred frequently on television and acted in films for such directors as John Cassavetes and Sidney Lumet. He also was ubiquitous in commercials of the 80s & 90s. In 2024, he retired from 17 years of teaching playwriting and acting at Wesleyan College in Macon, GA.
