    • Angelo Ferrari was born on August 14, 1897 in Rome, Lazio, Italy. He was an actor, known for Cyrano de Bergerac (1923), Le fou (1926) and Ein Walzer im Schlafcoupé (1930). He died on June 15, 1945 in Niederlehme, Germany.

Trivia

  • Prolific dapper leading man of Italian and French silents, who later appeared in German sound films as a supporting actor.
  • In his young days in Italy he was an Italian roll skate champion in 1913.
  • Briefly before the end of World War II he died at the age of 48 under unsettled circumstances. Some sources mentioned a stroke as his cause of death.
  • Angelo Ferrari played also in the age of the talkies in well-known pictures, but because of his lack of German language only in support roles.
  • The actor Angelo Ferrari was spotted by the actress Diana Karenne who provided the role of a prince for him in the movie "Sofia di Kravonia" (1916). It followed other Italian silent movies before he gained a foothold in the German film business.
