From ages 7 to 11 was popular model for John Robert Powers Agency. Radio and Broadway actor until army draft. Radio shows included: "Mr. District Attorney", "Let's Pretend", "Gangbusters", "My Best Girls, " "Superman", "Suspense", many soap operas, and as George Bigelow on "The Aldrich Family" and as Jerry on "The Sea Hound." Discharged from US Army in 1946 as Tech. Sargeant. As well as actor became writer of published adventure pulp fiction. Wrote scripts for radio and TV including "Suspense" (radio) "When a Girl Marries"(radio) "Rendezvous" (TV) and was on writing staff of "The Verdict Is Yours. Adapted and directed for records most of Newberry and Caldecot Award winning books. Wrote published children's book "Bedtime Stories From the Bible."Original Christmas story "The Night the Animals Talked" was adapted for an anual TV special with music by Cahn & Stein. Adapted, directed and voiced English tracks for hundreds of foreign films from all over world including: "Fistful of Dollars", "The Nest", "Mothra, "That Man From Rio", "Cinema Paradiso", some of the Godzilla films, "Flight of the Eagle" and "La Famiglia". Wrote, directed and voiced many TV series including "Speed Racer", "Marine Boy, " "Ultraman" and "The Space Monsters". Wrote the lyrics for the Speed Racer theme. Adapted many scripts for "Astroboy" also "Gigantor" series. Dialog director for "Galaxy Rangers" series and "Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders". Adaptor and director of Canadian mini-series "Jalna". Has been the voice on hundreds of TV and radio commercials.
