Alvin Stardust in No 73 (1982)
After leaving school he joined Johnny Theakstone and the Tremeloes moving equipment and doing the odd number.Johnny changed his name to Shane Fenton and the Fentones but soon after he died. He had a weak heart from a childhood illness and other problems and he died at 17. With permission of Johnny's parents Bernard took over the group and changed his name to Shane Fenton in 1960 then in 1973 changed it to Alvin Stardust and changed his image to black leather gear. His 2nd wife was Lisa Goddard who he married in December 1981
