Biography

Award winning, British actress and singer, Julia Farino, has been working in the industry for over 30 years. She started out on London's West End stage alongside stars as diverse as Sir John Gielgud and Sir Elton John. She then toured all over the UK with plays and musicals and later nationally and internationally with her jazz trio. Twelve years ago, Julia moved to Los Angeles and has built up a stellar reputation working on a huge variety of projects in film and television and has worked on music videos, video games and web series. Over the years, Julia has seen a lot of actors struggle to stay the course in such a tough profession, so she has written a book of tips and advice - Surviving Hollywood: How To Ensure The Acting Industry Doesn't Chew You Up And Spit You Out - which she hopes will help other actors successfully navigate this, sometimes crazy but always amazing, industry!
