  • Married to Tex McCrary with whom she co-hosted several television shows & specials including "Preview" in 1949 & "The Tex & Jinx Show" (aka "Closeup") in 1957-1958.

  • Left Chile due to political upheavals and, by 1935, attended Hollywood High School.
  • Co-starred in a radio breakfast show, "Tex and Jinx", with her longtime husband, John Reagan Tex McCrary, which eventually moved to TV in the late 40s.
  • Was chosen the first "Miss Rheingold" in 1941, to advertise Rheingold beer.
  • Two sons with Tex McCrary: John Reagan McCrary III and Kevin Jock McCrary.
  • In the 1960s, she was a spokesperson for the American Gas Association and did several commercials promoting the use of gas.
  • Discovered by the photographer Paul Hesse, who put her on the cover of American Magazine.
