After climbing to the Hollywood Sign one rainy morning with his Bolex 16mm camera, Ian and cohorts climbed the El Capitan Theater, then climbed through pigeon guano to touch the glowing ball at the very top.

Last name Eyre means itinerant; to journey. Has three passports; USA, Canada and Ireland. Has worked on movies in five countries; USA, Canada, Mexico, South Africa and Jordan. Travelled much of western Europe, driving through six countries in one day once; Italy, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany. Also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Haiti in 1990, escaping through Dominican Republic when his plane was hijacked by an insubordinate soldier.
