Kids Go to the Woods…Kids Get Dead (2009) Review
By Michael Juvinall, MoreHorror.com

Starring: Leah Rudick, Andrew Waffenschmidt, Joseph Campellone, Carly Goodspeed, Meghan Miller, Eric Carpenter, Amanda Rising, and Kevin Shea

Written and Directed by: Michael Hall

I have to give first time writer/director Michael Hall a lot of credit for trying some interesting approaches to his film, Kids Go to the Woods…Kids Get Dead. The film is meant to be a return to the slasher film style of the 1980’s, with lots of blood, lots of sex and nudity, and laughs (some intentional, some not). Hall was aiming for a throwback film reminiscent of early 80’s shockers such as Friday the 13th, The Prowler, or virtually any masked slasher film ever made, and for the most part he succeeded.

What makes Hall’s attempt somewhat unique is that he tries to give the film a late-night cable feel to it with a sultry, wise-cracking hostess...

Watch Kids Go To The Woods ... Kids Get Dead -- For Free!
The freebies keep coming for you from Doctor Gash. So far this week I got you an awesome pumpkin carving pattern of Lucio Fulci's Zombie, info on where to go for a free Q&A/autograph session with Syfy's "Ghosthunters" and now ... how about an absolutely free way to watch Michael Hall's slasher Kids Go To The Woods ... Kids Get Dead (which incidentally joins Dead Hooker in a Trunk and Know Models Were Harmed for my favorite recent film titles).

Writer/director/producer Michael Hall invites everyone to the Kids Get Dead website anytime during the month of October to stream the film for free. What do you have to lose? Head on over and check it out. I can say Kids Get Dead features the best use of a gas mask I've seen since the Charred Walls of the Damned "Ghost Town" video.

Kids Get Dead stars Leah Rudick,...

Free Slasher Horror Movie in October 2011 [Video]
Dsrkstar Entertainment is offering up their indie horror film Kids Go To The Woods... Kids Get Dead for free viewing online during the month of October 2011. By the title of the film you know exactly what is going to happen, but that does not make it not worth a watching. Kids Go To The Woods... Kids Get Dead brings back the classic slasher flick with horny teenagers, worthless cops, a crazy war vet and a masked killer. Complete with VHS static, fake commercials and featuring vignettes with horror hostess Candy Adams. Don't be fooled by the cheesy fake commercial and the horror hostess when you first start the movie, keep watching. Kids Go To The Woods... Kids Get Dead is...

Satan’s Screener Takes on Takin’ It All Off
Starring: Kitten Natividad (Supervixens), Jean Poremba (aka porn star Candie Evans and former wife to American Gladiator, Lazer), George "Buck" Flower (They Live and The Wilderness Family) and Gail Harris (Sorority House Massacre II, Hard To Die, and Cellblock Sisters: Banished Behind Bars) Well, Mark's hard work has finally paid off. He gets to revisit a movie he loves filled with plenty of T and A (and bush too). The movie's still terrible with juvenile humor, cartoon sound effects, a theme sound repeated 10 times that only has 3 words in it, but it harkens back to a time when Cinemax After Dark movies weren't all bored rich housewives who become prostitues and get screwed in the navel by dudes in badly orchestrated simulated sex scenes movies.
