- Jane Espenson was born on July 14, 1964 in Ames, Iowa, USA. She is a producer and writer, known for Buffy contre les vampires (1997), Husbands (2011) and Game of Thrones (2011).

- In her five years as staff writer and producer for the show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she wrote a total of 23 episodes.
