    • Sture Ericson was born on September 27, 1912 in Salem, Stockholms län, Sweden. He was an actor, known for Societetshuset (1963), Onkel Vanja (1967) and Il pleut sur notre amour (1946). He died on March 15, 1979 in Stockholm, Stockholms län, Sweden.

Trivia

  • His father was engineer Fredrik Eriksson and his mother Ida Hägg.
  • He started his career as an actor in 1941 in the amateur theatre company Medborgarteatern, which was founded by Ingmar Bergman. He then followed Bergman to the amateur theatre companies Stockholms Studentteater 1943 and Svenska Dramatikers Studio also 1943. He became a professional actor in 1944 at Helsingborgs Stadsteater (the City Theatre of Helsingborg), when the 26 year old Ingmar Bergman became theatre manager of that theatre.
