Edit
  • Trivia
Diminutive Austrian character comedienne, trained under Josef Danegger. On stage from 1918 and in films from 1929, she was noted for her tomboyish personality and gift of gab. Her screen personae encompassed eccentrics and naives, friend of the heroine or servant -- all possessed of an undeniably feisty attitude. The quality of her work diminished considerably after the war, as she restricted her screen acting to appearances in schmaltzy 'Heimatfilms' and second-string comedies.
