    • Trivia
Ellis had previously worked on the soap opera "A Flame in the Wind" with "Dark Shadows" writer Gordon Russell. In February 1969, "Dark Shadows" was down to only two writers, Ron Sproat having recently left the show. Russell found two writers to help out, a temporary one being Ellis and a more permanent one named Violet Welles.
