Erma Elzy
Erma Elzy is a multi-talented television, short feature and theater director. As a member of the Directors Guild of America, her credits include numerous multi-camera television shows including the Disney Channels 'That's So Raven', the CW's (formerly UPN) 'Girlfriends', 'The Parkers' and 'Moesha'. A respected member of the film festival circuit, Ms. Elzy garnered worldwide recognition for her direction of multiple, award-winning short features: the drama 'Room 302', the futuristic comedy 'Man Made' and the drama 'Redeemer', which she produced, wrote and directed. Also an NAACP nominated Theater Award Director, Ms. Elzy's Los Angeles directing credits include Jamal Williams' 'Yesterday Came Too Soon...The Dorothy Dandridge Story' and Hattiloo Theatre's productions of August Wilson's 'King Hedley II', Seven Guitars and Lydia Diamond's 'Stick Fly' in Memphis, TN. Ms. Elzy is a native of Los Angeles, CA. She resides in Memphis, TN.
