Ilja Ehrenburg was born on 15 January 1891 in Kiev, Russian Empire [now Ukraine]. He was a writer, known for L'amour de Jeanne Ney (1927), La pipe du communard (1929) and Les pipes (1966). He was married to Ljuba Michailowna Kosinzewa. He died on 31 August 1967 in Moscow, RSFSR, USSR [now Russia].
