She acted in Arthur Miller's play, "Death of a Salesman," at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey with Ralph Waite, Rob Sedjwick and Sean Runnette in the cast. David Wheeler was director. Michael Anania was scenic designer. Dennis Parichy was lighting designer. Gregg Barnes was costume designer.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York, but moved to North Carolina when she was five years old. When she moved back to New York, she had a southern accent but soon lost it.
I dreamed a lot as a kid. I read a lot. I made up a kind of theatre with my animals, toys and dolls. I always wanted to be someone else, but I never consciously knew I wanted to be an actress. I always kept it a secret. [Daytime TV, Feb 1972]
