Alexander Dyakov(1932-2018)

Alexander Dyakov is a Bulgarian painter and actor. He graduated in "sculpture" the Art Academy "Nikolay Pavlovich" in Sofia, Bulgaria (1958). He received the Order "Cyril and Methodius" (1982).and the title of "honorary citizen of Sofia". Octogenarian sculptor is an emblematic figure in Bulgarian cultural history.He has told legends that have become urban folklore. Not surprisingly Rangel Vulchanov invited him to play the lead role of the sculptor in the film "With Love and Tenderness." Dyakov's works are like himself, from durable material and radiating tenderness. In Cinema Center still is standing 7 meters iron plastic. Alex is also a painter of eight films, among them "Wolf", "Memory of Twin", "Death Rabbit," "Father of the Egg." He was a boxer and in 1952 became a national champion.
