  • Attended Saint Andrew's School where he overcame a series of obstacles in his senior year and won the school's Perseverance Award. He applies those perseverance lessons to the film industry.
  • Attended Camp Deerwood, whose other alumni include Christopher Reeve & Charlie Hewson.
  • Scott's other grandfather served on the board of directors for E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. which sponsored the The DuPont Show of the Month (1957) on CBS nominated for 12 Emmy Awards.
  • Scott's grandfather was one of the primary investors for 'South Pacific', which won 10 Tony Awards.
