  • Micki Duran was with Nickelodeon's Roundhouse (1992) for it's entire run. She's a talented dancer with many abilities. Other television work for Micki includes a few episodes of Hull High (1990), appearances on Moesha (1996), The Tracey Ullman Show (1987), Out All Night (1992), Alerte à Malibu (1989), and she was in videos for the NBC Saturday morning series, Guys Next Door including "Dance All Night." She's also been in music videos for: Quincy Jones, Spandau Ballet, Dino, The Boys, Color Me Badd, Kenneth 'Babyface' Edmonds, Marvin Young, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Selena, Fastball, Backstreet Boys, and "Live It Up" for Marshall Dyllon. Miss Duran also appeared in a 1992 anti-drug use commercial involving the "Scott Newman Center." She co-starred in a kids' educational home video called "Rappin & Rhymin." Micki has danced on the 42nd Annual Emmy Awards, The Soul Train Awards, the 2000 American Music Awards with Britney Spears, the 2000 Billboard Awards with Mystikal, the 2001 Billboard Awards with Shaggy, the 2002 NAACP program with Babyface, and VH1's Big in '04 with Nick Lachey. Micki has toured with KC & The Sunshine Band, and Johnny Gill. Micki not only dances and acts, but she has also been in a couple of music groups. Micki is a former lead vocalist for the all girl group U4Ea!. She joined U4Ea! after her departure from the pop/diva group Wild Orchid, founded by former members of Disney's Kids Incorporated in 1990, originally under the title New Rhythm Generation. The Wild Orchid album (self-titled) was released May 25, 1997 (after a 2 year delay) and the first track "At Night I Pray" was co-written by Micki. The song is also available as a single. U4Ea! has a maxi single out that features Micki's work as well. Micki did a guest appearance on Kids Incorporated (1984) in 1991; she played "Dorain." Prior to that she was also a dancer for the '89/'90 Disney show Videopolis. Micki has danced in the films Un mariage trop parfait (2001), The Rundown, Clueless, Showgirls, Jerry Maguire, How to be a Player, Orange County, and Looney Tunes: Back in Action. Micki recently did a 'spicy-chicken-girls' Jack in the Box commercial, and a national Ford commercial. Look for Micki dancing in the video "Can't Get Enough Of You Baby" by Smash Mouth.

    She's been dancing since age 9 and loves butterflies, deep dish pizza (with avocado, mushrooms and onions), and the poet E.E. Cumings. Movies she likes: My Fair Lady, Sound of Music, Little Mermaid, and Annie. TV shows she likes: LaFemme Nikita, Cow & Chicken, and Party of 5. Micki is part Choctow, African-American and Hispanic.

    Jobs that came with RH: Hosted an MTV Top 20 Countdown in 1993. Hosted "Snick Live" in 1994, danced at the 6th and 7th annual Nickelodeon's Kid's Choice Awards. Micki was part of Slime Time Live for Nickelodeon in 1993 and 1994. Appeared with the 2nd season cast on Entertainment Tonight. Micki has her own profile commercial for Nickelodeon.
