The original "Maggie Campbell" on Baby Talk (1991), a sitcom takeoff on Allô maman, ici bébé! (1989), starring Kirstie Alley. Julia Duffy was the original choice for the role of "Diane Chambers" on Cheers (1982). After losing the part to Shelley Long, Duffy was soon cast in a first season episode as a friend of Diane's named "Rebecca Prout", not to be confused with Kirstie Alley's character who replaced "Diane Chambers" as the nemesis/love interest of "Sam Malone", a character also later played by Kirstie Alley.
