In October 2012, Ric was awarded the Joe Gold Lifetime Achievement Award in Las Vegas at the World Gym convention. Ric was the first and only person ever to receive this award for his contributions to Bodybuilding, creating the famous Gold's Gym and World Gym logo and his talk show Ric's Corner which goes back to the history of the Golden Era of Bodybuilding.
