Doyle said that during his first on-screen death, in La fin d'un rêve (1996) , he was mortified to notice, while watching the finished movie, after his character is supposed to be dead, his eye still twitched a bit. After that, he always died with his eyes open.

Appeared as a featured guest in two different first-run, prime-time TV shows on the same night, Wednesday April 14th, 2010: Esprits criminels (2005) at 9:00pm (EDT) on CBS and US Marshals (2008) at 10:00pm (EDT) on the USA Network.
