Architect, painter, etcher and printer. First studied art in Pittsburgh, later furthering his education in Paris under Andre Lhote (1926-1928). Lectured at the Chouinard Art School in Los Angeles. Joined 20th Century Fox in the 1930's, under contract as full art director from 1941 to 1947.
