Johnny Downs was born on 10 October 1913 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He was an actor. He was married to June Ellen Draper. He died on 6 June 1994 in Coronado, California, USA.
Performed as a member of 'Our Gang' from the age of eight. He later had success on the vaudeville circuit as a song-and-dance man before returning to film acting in the 1930's.
