Amy Dowd(I)

Amy Dowd, a native of Denver, CO, is an actor known for the Netflix Original Film Casting JonBenet (2017) where the film had it's World Premeire at Sundance Film Festival 2018. Most recently released is Stadium Anthems (2018). Dowd became SAG in 1997 dancing with John Travolta in A Civil Action while studying acting in Boston, MA and booking Principal roles in multiple national commercials. Dowd then moved to LA and became AFTRA in 1998 working on shows Days of Our Lives, Just Shoot Me, and studied 2 years at Ivana Chubbuck Studio. In 2001 she moved back to CO to have a family which she feels has now prepared her for more roles she could ever dream of and received her Sociology/Psychology degree. Dowd is studying at AEC studios, and grew up riding horses, shooting rifles, rode motorcycles at age 9, competed at the Varsity level in an array of high school sports and still loves to hike and ski. She also works well with children, animals, and wine.
