Avra Douglas began her film/TV career working for Jay Tarses on The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd and The Slap Maxwell Story as a set decorator. She Is a screenwriter of German production Teacher's Pet for RTL. Avra was the personal assistant to Marlon Brando from 1991 to 2004. She worked on his last film projects from 1994 to 2000 as dialogue coach and personal assistant. She became an executor of his Estate and is presently a Trustee of the Marlon Brando Trust.
