Jade-Jenise Dixon's journey into the world of episodic television directing is a testament to her unwavering passion and exceptional talent. Her breakthrough moment came when she successfully completed the Disney Directing Program, paving the way for her to direct her inaugural television episode. This achievement not only marked the beginning of her television directing career but also earned her an impressive Emmy nomination in 2023. Jade then immediately directed two episodes of a one hour drama, adding drama to her slate of TV directing.

However, Jade-Jenise's creative prowess extends beyond television. Prior to her Disney directing venture, she made a significant mark in the realm of independent filmmaking, having written and directed her own projects. Notably, her award-winning feature films, including "Truth Hall," which was available on Netflix and BET Network (now available on Amazon/AllBlk), and "Dog Park," showcase her ability to captivate audiences with compelling narratives. Additionally, her talents shine through in the form of the critically acclaimed short film, "Sunrise."

Originally from in Omaha, NE, Jade-Jenise Dixon's artistic journey took a transformative turn during her high school years in Atlanta, GA. As a student at Northside High School of the Performing Arts, she not only honed her skills but also directed the powerful production of "For Colored Girls..." while still navigating the challenges of high school. Her educational pursuits led her to the University of Miami, where she embraced her passion as a Theater Arts major and even brought her spirit to the sidelines as a Miami Hurricane cheerleader. While at UM, Jade-Jenise also directed a rendition of the Scarlet Letter.

Recognizing the need for broader creative horizons, Jade later transferred to NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. During her time at NYU, she received the prestigious "Presidential Service Award" from the Dean of the university for her outstanding contributions to stage play direction, particularly during Black History Month. This recognition underscored Jade's commitment to storytelling and content creation.

Beyond her impressive accolades, Jade-Jenise Dixon is the proud owner of her own production company, a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to shaping the landscape of television and film. Based in Los Angeles, CA, she is a distinguished member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA) and SAG/AFTRA, further solidifying her presence in the entertainment industry.

Jade-Jenise is also an advocate for housing rights and environmental justice.
