Collette Dinnigan is a highly renowned and iconic Australian fashion designer. She built a hugely successful international fashion empire known for its distinctive feminine aesthetic, but she has since transitioned her creative focus to other areas. Collette is celebrated for being the first Australian designer to launch a ready-to-wear collection in Paris in 1995. She was also the first Australian to be invited by the Chambre Syndicale du prêt-à-porter des couturiers et des créateurs de mode to show on the prestigious Paris Fashion Week schedule, where she continued to show for an impressive 33 seasons.
