Raymond Devos was born on 9 November 1922 in Mouscron, Belgium. He was an actor and writer, known for La raison du plus fou (1973), Le travail c'est la liberté (1959) and Au théâtre ce soir (1966). He was married to Simone Beguin. He died on 15 June 2006 in Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, Yvelines, France.
