Sara Dee, an Actress, Voice Artist is known for; 'Meg2', 'Shamrock Spitfire' (Awarded) , 'In Fabric', 'Borley Rectory', '15' and 'Flash Back'.

British born, in Cheshire, NW England, she studied for her acting career in her home county and in London, building a unique portfolio of disciplines from various institutions and academies as well as investing in private lessons, with both British and American tutors. This diverse training usefully honed her existing talent and prepared her for a varied performing career; Presenting, Acting, Voicing out of vision and animated characters, Voice Over narration and even writing lyrics and songs for feature films and drama documentaries.

Before acting took hold, Sara's engaging voice and vibrant personality initially made her a successful presenter, most prominently on Granada's '2 Wheels' program and on 'BBC Radio 2'. Sara became known as 'The Voice Of Ben Wheatley's World' with work on features from 'Down Terrace' through to 'Meg2' with four voices on 'High Rise' and three on 'Sightseers' alone.

The acquisition of a front credit on her first feature, an award nomination for a powerful stage role and national press attention when co-starring with British comedy legend Sir Norman Wisdom at Pinewood Studios, gave Sara a promising start. She was a welcome guest on a private jet to Cannes and on the Fuji Film, Lee Lighting and Panavision yacht, during her Cannes debut, starring in the 35mm film Café D' Paris that she also produced. She attracted mentors at Pinewood Studios from Oscar winning Sound Editor Don Sharpe, Producer Larry De Waay and director John Hough.

It was Sara's portrayal of a powerful dominatrix, 'Mistress Angel,' in the unpublished play 'Satisfaction Guaranteed,' that earned her a national 'Performance Artist Of The Year Award' nomination and made Sara a desirable option for casting in formidable women roles, like her ruthless journalist, 'Margaret Rawlins' in Lynda La Plante's ITV (UK) drama series, 'The Commander', directed by Charles Beeson.

Sara was recommended to The Royal Court Theatre to work with the Artistic Director Ian Rickson appearing in Jez Butterworth's 'The Night Heron', alongside an all-star cast. Her supportive networking abilities led her to being chosen by director Andy Wilson to play 'Lady Hysteria' in his opulent BBC feature 'Riot At The Rite'. Martin Pavey's highly acclaimed thriller 'Flash Back' written by Andy Davie and starring Sara, provoked BAFTA luminaries to suggest Sara as a candidate for 'The Rising Star Award'. 'Flash Back' also marked her Hollywood debut screening.

Sara Dee excels at encouraging others to let their creative talents shine, from supporting new writers to helping features complete their production. She is a committee member of the networking Media Lunch Club, produces her own short films, is proud to have been given the 'Performance Artist Award', by The Tree Of Hope Children's Charity and a 'Best Cast Award' for Shamrock Spitfire and continues to work on film, stage and television.
