    Auburn-haired Dona Dax went to Hollywood from Minneapolis four years ago as a "most beautiful legs" contest winner. An auto accident in 1932 almost ended her life. She emerged with a broken neck, collar bone and knee-cap. That she survived was considered a miracle. Now, between pictures, Dona sells perfume. (from the Pittsburgh Press, June 30, 1940).
