SoundStack, the audio-as-a-service (AaaS) company, today announces the appointment of Rockie Thomas as Chief Strategy Officer (Cso). In the newly-formed role, Thomas will be fundamental in directing the company’s strategic vision and cementing its leadership position in podcasting/streaming radio, programmatic advertising, hosting/delivery, measurement, and more. She was previously the company’s Chief Revenue Officer.

A new Star Wars series is always an event, and with Skeleton Crew, Disney+ have taken a page out of Amblin’s book, mixed it with a smidge of Stranger Things, and come up with something wonderful.

The series Jude Law, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry Condon and Nick Frost.

Episodes of the original live-action series are directed by Jon Watts, David Lowery, the Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard and Lee Isaac Chung. The executive producers are Christopher Ford, Jon Watts, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson.

During a recent interview with Deadline, Amell shared his excitement for the project, revealing that he secured the leading role in Suits: L.A. after going to his first in-person audition in nearly a decade. "I went into it without a ton of expectations because you never know what they’re going to be looking for," he said. "But the script is great.
