Janine Darcey was born on 14 January 1917 in Asnières, Seine [now Asnières-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine], France. She was an actress, known for Du rififi chez les hommes (1955), En français... Messieurs! (1940) and La Montre, la Croix & la Manière (1991). She was married to Serge Reggiani and Gérard Landry. She died on 1 October 1993 in Fontenay-lès-Briis, Essonne, France.
