  • Child actress, at various times under contract with MGM, Paramount and Warner Brothers.
  • Friends with Mickey Rooney in the late 1930's.
  • Became friends with Mickey Rooney and appeared in several of his films.
  • Interred at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California.
  • After a full retirement from acting, he became a gourmet cook. She also painted on the side.
  • Got out of the business while young and went to school at both the Holmby School for Girls and Beverly Hills High. She later attended and graduated from UCLA in 1941.
  • Returned to films for a time in 1938 as an MGM bit part player.
  • Was a peachy-cheeked, curly golden blonde-locked child actress of the late 1920's often billed as "Baby Vondell Darr".
  • Made her film debut at age 5 with Boîtes de nuit (1924) and her stage debut in "The Little Rebel" (1926) starring Dustin Farnum and William Farnum.
  • Earned stardom in the film En cour d'assises (1928) and is unofficially considered the first child actress to ever talk in films. Was given a Warner Bros. contract but made only one more film L'aspirant détective (1929) before dropping out of films at age 10.
