Trivia

  • American producer, formerly an accomplished violinist and orchestral conductor. With his brother Edward J. Danziger formed New Elstree Studios on the outskirts of London, having purchased a large abandoned Shadow factory previously used to produce aircraft engines for the wartime Royal Air Force. They turned out literally hundreds of low-budget second features of no more than 70 minutes length. According to Christopher Lee, if shooting of a picture went on for more than three days, the film would be well in excess of its budget!.
  • In 1969 he and brother Edward J. Danziger bought the famous Cartiers Jewelers of Paris, France.
  • Commanded a tank squadron in North Africa and then Italy, where he won a Medal for Valour.
