Father of the late Chicago disc jockey and radio personality Yvonne Daniels.

Has four daughters and four sons: Billy Daniels Jr., Bruce Daniels, Wayne Daniels, Jack Pearce, Yvonne Daniels, Diane Daniels, Andrea Daniels and Dominique Daniels.

He was awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 6819 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California on May 18, 1977.

Dominique Daniels is the founder of the Billy Daniels Foundation, a non-profit organization raising money for underserved youths seeking Arts Education support in her father's name. She also served as chief executive officer.

Following his death, he was interred at El Camino Memorial Park in Sorrento Valley, San Diego, California.
