Joe Dalo
Joseph (Joe) Dalo, an American actor, comedian, special effects builder, and designer, was born in Philadelphia, PA. He was a series regular, co-host, and special effects designer for the show CODE:9 on the Disney Channel. Joe's journey in entertainment began with acting in school plays at Triton Regional in Runnemede, NJ. Despite initially studying laser-fiber optics at Camden County College, Joe's passion for theater led him to Montclair State University, where he pursued acting and discovered his talent behind the scenes, eventually becoming the Assistant Technical Director.

Following his success in the Original Philadelphia Cast of Tony and Tina's Wedding, Joe ventured into stand-up comedy, headlining at the 1996 Edinburgh festival and winning Comic of the Month at Comic Strip Live in NYC. He toured nationally with Tony and Tina's Wedding for three years, assuming various roles including Technical Director and Assistant Director, before joining the Off-Broadway run for two years.

In recent years, Joe has excelled behind the scenes, contributing to notable projects such as Jackass 3D as a special effects designer, where he helped create memorable stunts like the Exploding Port-a-Potty and the giant "High Five" Hand, which famously assisted Johnny Knoxville's victory at Wrestlemania 38. Additionally, he served as the SFX host on The Disney Channel's Code: 9, contributed to the fourth season of The Carbonaro Effect, and starred as the villain Aytas in the comedy horror film, The Painting-the Art of Slaying. Joe also wrote, produced, and directed the web series "Dummy the Web Series."

Most recently, he lent his expertise to ABC's The Prank Panel, further solidifying his reputation as a versatile and talented contributor to the entertainment industry.

Joe resides in Hollywood with his wife, Renee, their cat Beth. Check out - JoeDalo.com
