Wanda Curtis was an American singer and actress, known for Le Roi des dinosaures (1955) (1955). Known for her "sultry" voice, red hair and her revealing gowns designed by Richard Selzer, Curtis had a brief period of minor fame in the mid-fifties as a nightclub and stage singer, and toured the US, Far East, South America, North Africa and Europe. She was discovered (as an actress) by either Al Zimbalist or Bert I. Gordon, producers of King Dinosaur, when she performed in Los Angeles, and was cast as one of the four leads in the cheap science fiction film, for which she had to dye her hair blonde in order to better distinguish herself from co-star Patti Gallagher. After her only film, she toured the world as a jazz singer and eventually settled down in Argentina for some years before returning to the States. She passed away in the early years of the 2000's.

All the diplomatic meetings in the world can't do half as much to cement international goodwill as a song -- and the right kind of gowns.
