Sarah Crowden

Sarah Crowden is a British character actress who works extensively on film and television, and in the theatre. She has featured in over 50 television commercials for the UK, Europe and the US. She is also a professional writer, is a contributor to the literary quarterly Slightly Foxed and has reviewed books for The Lady, TLS, Geographical and Literary Review amongst others. In 2017 Sarah started performing stand-up comedy on the London circuit as Dame Theresa Thompson's-Gazelle. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Diploma in Literature from The Open University. In 1974 she began her career as a Student Assistant Stage Manager with The Actors' Company.
