Raul Cremona
- Actor
Raul Cremona started out as a magician and at a very young age he entered the world of nightclubs, where he discovered the stage, or rather, a close contact with the audience. His love for magic and stage characters brought him to the world of cabaret. After a lot of experience in Milan's historic clubs, such as the Derby, the Cà Bianca and the Zelig, he tried his hand at comedy and imitations, inventing characters such as the irreverent Magician Oronzo, the shy and tender Manipolini, Silvano the Magician of Milan, which was an irreverent send-up of the real Magician Silvan. He later created acts without magic: from Jacopo, the young actor, to Omen, the well-known unrepentant chauvinist. His latest character is the American mentalist, Max Marvel, better known to his friends as Marvello.
Using the art of magic in a comical way, Raul Cremona aims to represent the frustrations and ambitions of the average magician, by creating amusing and irreverent characters. His "creatures" also reveal his great passion for American comedy films and his experience as a travelling actor.
