One Piece's Elbaph arc is already doing things differently by throwing a party early on instead of after Monky D. Luffy defeats whatever opponent he has to face. The giants welcome the Straw Hat Crew with open arms, even if they aren't quite what the pirates expected to face. Elbaph is impressive for more than its sheer scale; it's a beautiful land that doesn't quite match up with the fearsome reputation most of the world knows. Instead, the Straw Hat Crew have arrived during a time of cultural transition they are undoubtedly going to get swept up in.
