Exclusive: Jennifer Garner, star of the 2004 romantic comedy 13 Going on 30, will be executive producer of the stage musical based on the beloved movie.

The show’s director Andy Fickman and its producer Hamish Greer for lead producing company Royo confirmed the news to Deadline.

Garner, in a statement shared exclusively with us, declares that “after more than 20 years- I still get to talk about Jenna Rink and 13 Going on 30 more days than not- who knew our quirky little movie would have such staying power?”

The actress says she’s thrilled to see the movie’s cherished characters “live on in their very own musical- are you kidding me? I’m geeking out?”

Dfrnt recently shared a photo of Cox and his wife during a break in their training session on Instagram. "Daredevil Spotted At Dfrnt. The documentary tells the story of Cox, a 25-year-old British artist known as Mr Doodle, who bought a six-bedroom mansion in the English countryside of Kent in 2019. After stripping it bare and painting it brilliant white, he spent more than two years covering every single inch of it in doodles.

As long expected, London’s hit immersive staging of the beloved Kander & Ebb classic Cabaret starring Eddie Redmayne as the emcee will move to Broadway this spring, with Gayle Rankin taking the role of Sally Bowles.

Previews will begin April 1, 2024, at the August Wilson Theatre, with an official opening night of April 21. An opening gala is set for April 20. The musical features music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and a book by Joe Masteroff.

Director of the London production, Rebecca Frecknall, will do the same for Broadway, as will designer Tom Scutt. As with the London production, Cabaret on Broadway will be presented as an immersive, in-the-round staging, turning the August Wilson into the storied Kit Kat Klub, with audience members offered pre-show drinks and dining to evoke pre-World War II Berlin.
