- Following his acting career, he earned a law degree from Golden Gate University and worked for the University of California's Continuing Education of the Bar program for 26 years . He also served as a volunteer attorney for the San Francisco Bar Association's Homeless Advocacy Project and worked on asylum cases for the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights.
