Project Runway will make its highly anticipated debut on Thursday, July 31, with a two-episode premiere starting at 9:00 p.m. Edt on Freeform and available to stream shortly after on Hulu and Disney+. Subsequent episodes will air weekly starting at 10:00 p.m. Edt.

As previously announced, Heidi Klum returns to the runway for season 21 and will be joined by judges Nina Garcia and Law Roach, with Christian Siriano set as the contestants’ mentor.

When Project Runway debuted in 2004, the series broke new ground and helped revolutionize the reality competition genre. Since then, the Emmy-winning series has aired in more than 125 countries.

Project Runway season 21’s Heidi Klum, Christian Siriano, Law Roach, and Nina Garcia

Host Heidi Klum will be joined by Project Runway veterans Christian Siriano and Nina Garcia on the show’s upcoming season 21. The new season, currently in production, also welcomes new judge and image architect Law Roach.

Season 21 is targeting a summer premiere on Freeform, Disney+, and Hulu.

Siriano is on board to serve as a mentor, and Garcia, who has been with the series since 2004, returns as a judge. Teigen's decision to exit the teen comedy series in June came in the wake of online bullying allegations from musician Courtney Stodden.

In May, Stodden was featured in a profile on The Daily Beast in which they alleged that Teigen had harassed them after their widely publicized marriage to actor Doug Hutchison. In 2011, Stodden, then 16, married Hutchison, then 50. The couple divorced in 2020, and Stodden now believes they were groomed by Hutchison.

Updated at 5:40 p.m.: Chrissy Teigen had strong words for designer and former Project Runway contestant Michael Costello. Costello accused Teigen earlier this week of bullying him and trying to destroy his career. Teigen wrote on Instagram Friday that she was “surprised and disappointed” by Costello’s allegations and called the alleged texts between them that he posted online “fakes.”

She did admit to commenting publicly about Costello in 2014 when he was accused of making a racist remark. When Costello denied ever making the statement, Teigen says she deleted her post.

Teigen asked fans not to bully Costello for his posts, but warned the designer that the allegations needed to stop “Or this Will go further. Not here, but an actual court of law.”

Teigen had, last month, apologized for old tweets and DMs in which she bullied former reality star Courtney Stodden.
