Biography

An American film director, producer and screenwriter. Born in Newport Beach, California and raised in neighboring Huntington Beach, California, Costanzo emerged at the tail end of the American independent film renaissance of the 1990s. A self-taught filmmaker, who began making home movies as a child, pursued an acting career as a teenager and made his feature directorial debut with Return to Innocence (2001) at the age of 27. Following this achievement, Costanzo has established himself as a "Genre Hopping" filmmaker, with a horror film, Hallowed (2005), a documentary, Almost Beautiful (2007), a slapstick comedy, Midnite Cabby (2014), and a teen thriller,Ditch Party (2016) (2016). In 2019, Costanzo returns to the horror genre with A Psycho's Path (2019).
