Cropped commercial ad for USAA Insurance
Sean Corrigan has appeared in dozens of films, commercials, and plays, and has been featured in national print ads for Motorola, Delta Airlines, Scott Tissue, and USAA Insurance. In 2006, he was selected by the Screen Actors Guild to be on the Nominating Committee for its SAG Awards.

In addition to acting, Corrigan is an award-winning writer, having received over 40 awards for his screenwriting. Two of his short plays have been produced in New York City, and in 2000, his one-act play, "Just a Couple Guys Talkin'", debuted at the esteemed Little Theatre of Alexandria. Also in 2000, Corrigan was the Grand Prize winner of the Scriptapalooza TV competition for his "Sex and the City" episode. He has been spotlighted in trade magazines such as Indie Slate and Film Threat, and in January 2002, he was featured in Script Magazine's "The Writers You'll Wish You Knew When" section. In 2009, Corrigan received the prestigious Austin Film Festival Writers Ranch writing fellowship for his screenplay, "Confession".

In 2001, Corrigan directed his first feature film, Insignificant Other (2002), which received three stars from Chris Gore's Film Threat website and was called "...a strong directorial debut for Corrigan, a good demonstration of his evolving storytelling skills" by 20th Century Fox.
