  • May be best known to Star Trek (1966) fans as "Zefram Cochrane" in the episode, Metamorphosis (1967), a role which was portrayed by James Cromwell in Star Trek : Premier Contact (1996), which was filmed almost 3 years after Corbett's death in 1993.
  • Modeled for physique photographer Robert Henry Mizer, founder of the Athletic Model Guild.
  • He is buried in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
  • Children with Judy: Jason Corbett (b. early 1960) and Jocelyn Corbett (b. late 1961).
  • Attended Ventura College in 1956 and was elected Student Body President of the spring semester. He also was voted Best Looking.
  • His second marriage (to Kathryn Lea Glisson) in 1977, lasted for just 10 weeks before they were divorced.
  • A Man Alone (1993)(#1.3) aired the day after his death.
  • In two consecutive guest starring roles, the term "Judas Goat" is used. In Metamorphosis (1967) his character, Zephram Cockran says it to Captain Kirk (William Shatner), and in the The Weird World (1968) the Alexander Fitzhugh (Kurt Kasznar) character says it to his character, Major Kagen.
